Service Description

Come along and make a pendant or a pair of drop earrings (you may even have time to make both) in this 3 hour morning workshop. Working with sterling silver sheet you get to create your own design and really be creative. You will learn how to add texture, cut of shapes using a disc cutter and saw metal. You’ll also learn to use a rolling mill to emboss patterns into the sterling silver using leaves, feathers, lace, patterned rolling plates or texture using a hammer. You will learn various jewellery techniques including: sawing filing doming sanding texturing silver use the rolling mill I will have a selection of jewellery to give you some ideas on different styles that you can create on the day but you can create your own design. Before you come please: No open toed shoes for your protection A hair band to tie your hair when using the torch. If you wear glasses for close up work it would be best to bring those too as you will work with small things. Suitable clothing for a workshop environment and nothing that can fall into the flame like floaty clothing or a scarf.
